Terms of service

The agreement that governs your use of Assetly.

Last updated: Oct 29, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and CODECRETE (“we”, “us”), the company that owns and operates Assetly. Assetly is the name of our product; the contracting party is the company. By creating an account, starting a trial or using Assetly, you accept these terms and our privacy notice; a workspace owner also accepts our data processing agreement when creating their workspace.

If you use Assetly on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organization.

2. The service

Assetly is software for recording assets, their ownership shares, rent contracts, invoices, revenue, expenses, settlements and legal disputes, and for giving each person in a workspace the view their role allows.

The currency chosen in your workspace settings is a display label only. Amounts are never converted between currencies.

3. What Assetly is for

Assetly is an organizing tool. It lets the owner of a workspace keep the records of their assets, transactions and documents in one place, to make managing them easier and to save them time.

Our service is limited to providing and running the platform and keeping what you enter in it. We store your data for your convenience and to provide that service, and for no other purpose.

4. What we do not do

We do not manage anyone’s assets, and we do not give investment, financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. We do not act as a real-estate broker or agent.

We are not a party to any relationship between you and your tenants, buyers, co-owners or anyone else you record, or to any dispute between you.

We do not collect rent or sale proceeds on anyone’s behalf. Invoices in Assetly are records that you enter to organize your business; they are not claims issued by us.

We do not check that the information or documents you upload are accurate, and we do not verify the identity of the people you record.

Calculations and reports (earnings, ownership splits, analytics) are aids built on what you entered. They are not certified financial statements.

The legal disputes section is a tool for organizing dates and documents. It is not legal advice, and reminders and notifications are an aid: they do not replace your own follow-up of your deadlines.

5. Accounts

To use Assetly you must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract and provide accurate registration information, including an email address you verify.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@assetly-app.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

6. Workspaces, members and roles

The person who registers a workspace is its owner. Only the owner can add members, assign their roles, manage billing and settle balances. Each role (owner, co-owner, accountant, lawyer and customer) has fixed permissions that cannot be customized.

The workspace owner is responsible for the members they add, for the permissions their roles give, and for what those members do in the workspace. Remove a member’s access when they no longer need it.

You may record people who will never sign in, such as a co-owner without an email address.

A member can be removed only once nothing of theirs is still open: a co-owner’s ownership shares must first be given to someone else and their revenues and expenses settled with them, and a customer who rents an asset must have it released. Removing a member then permanently deletes their Earnings records and any members they invited. This cannot be undone.

7. Data protection: who is responsible for what

We are the controller of the data about your account, your subscription and payments, and the technical logs of the service.

You, the workspace owner, are the controller of everything you enter about your assets and the people connected to them (co-owners, tenants, buyers, staff). We process that data on your behalf, as your processor, under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.

8. Your commitments about other people’s data

You confirm that you have a lawful basis to enter the personal data of everyone you record, including names, phone numbers, national ID numbers and images of ID cards.

You will obtain any written consent the law requires, in particular for financial data, which is sensitive data, and the written consent of a parent or guardian before entering the data of a minor.

You will inform the people whose data you enter about our privacy notice within 30 days of entering it. Invitation emails include a link to it, and you can share it with people who never sign in.

You will obtain any license or permit the law requires of you as a controller, and you will enter only the data you need to manage your assets. You will not upload data you have no right to.

You will keep your members’ accounts confidential and remain responsible for the permissions you give them.

9. Free trial and subscriptions

Assetly is a paid service. A new workspace starts with a 7-day free trial, which requires a payment card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the card is charged when the trial ends.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, in US dollars (USD), at the price shown before you subscribe. They renew automatically for the same period, and each renewal is charged to the card selected for renewals.

Each plan has limits on the number of assets, members and legal disputes. Sold assets and settled disputes still count toward these limits.

If a renewal payment fails, a grace period begins during which everyone in the workspace keeps access. If payment is not made by the end of it, the subscription expires and access to the workspace is paused until it is renewed.

We may change our prices. A new price applies from your next renewal after we have given you notice of it, and you may cancel before then.

10. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your workspace’s billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and cannot be undone; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for partial periods or unused features, except where the law requires it or where we decide to correct a billing error. To report a billing problem, contact support@assetly-app.com.

11. Payments

Card payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We never receive or store your full card number; we keep only the card brand, its last four digits and its expiry date.

By saving a card, you authorize us to charge it for your subscription and its renewals until you cancel or replace it.

12. Your content

You keep ownership of the information and files you add to Assetly. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to provide the service to you and the people you give access to.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to upload it, including contracts, documents and other people’s personal information.

13. Acceptable use

You must not use Assetly for any unlawful purpose, including processing personal data without a lawful basis; try to access another workspace or account, or data your role does not allow; disrupt, overload or probe the service; upload malicious files; or copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

14. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Assetly available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance.

Assetly is developing, and we may add, change or remove features. We will not remove a core part of the service you are paying for during your current paid period without notice.

15. Suspension and ending

You may stop using Assetly at any time by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, do not pay, if we reasonably suspect that personal data is being processed unlawfully in your workspace, or if the Personal Data Protection Center or another competent authority orders it. Where reasonable and allowed, we will tell you first.

When a subscription ends, your workspace’s data is kept and access is paused. You can restore access by subscribing again.

You can delete your account from your privacy settings. A workspace owner’s workspace and everything in it are deleted 30 days later, and you can download a copy of your data or cancel the deletion until then. We may keep some records, without anything that identifies you, where the law requires it.

16. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Assetly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those set out in these terms.

17. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against any claim, fine or loss arising from personal data you entered into Assetly without a lawful basis, or from your breach of your commitments in these terms or in the data processing agreement.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, lost data, or losses arising from financial, legal or other decisions made using the information in the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence, or our own obligations under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law.

19. Changes to these terms

Accepting these terms covers their later versions too. We may update them; when a change is significant, we tell you in your dashboard, with a link to this page, which shows what changed (the previous and the new wording) and the date it applies from.

If you keep using Assetly after a change applies, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using Assetly and delete your account, which you can do at any time in your privacy settings.

Changed on 28 October 2026, applying from that date: removing a member also deletes their Earnings records. The previous wording listed only “their ownership shares, their revenue and expense records, and any members they invited”.

Changed on 29 October 2026, applying from that date: a member who still has revenues or expenses not settled can no longer be removed (as before, nor can one who holds ownership shares), so removing a member no longer deletes those records. The previous wording was “Removing a member permanently deletes their ownership shares, their revenue, expense and Earnings records, and any members they invited. This cannot be undone.”

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of Assetly will be settled by the competent courts of Cairo.

21. Language

These terms are published in Arabic and English. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.

22. Contact
